ROOTS&ROPES was born from a simple truth: too many boys are growing up without strong male role models, and it shows — in their confidence, their choices, and their sense of belonging. We’re here to change that. Founded in Cape Town, ROOTS&ROPES offers mentorship, life skills, and emotional support to help boys reconnect with their identity and build resilience. We don’t preach. We guide. Through workshops, storytelling, and hands-on learning, we help young men grow roots that ground them — and ropes that lift them. This isn’t just a nonprofit. It’s a movement. One that starts with truth, builds with trust, and ends with transformation.
